One of the most interesting museums that I have ever seen. Full of history, modernization of Indian railways. Well organized place, you can also plan a family trip to the museum. it's amazing!

➤Here you can explore the Wonderful Collection of India’s Rail Heritage.
About 160 years of Indian Railways with the view of the remarkable historical collection of photographs, documents, and train models, were as some models are working and can be enjoyed their journey. An information board next to each displays an educational content about it.

An interesting collection of exhibits from around the world, the most famous- Fairy Queen is known to be the oldest working steam railway engine in the world
(A locomotive or railway engine which provides the motive power for a train). The Patiala State Monorail and the Morris Fire Engine near the entrance.

➤You would love to experience different types of locomotives with the Diesel, Steam Simulators and can enjoy a virtual 3D Coach Ride. Also as you can be a part of the Toy Train through the sprawling outdoor gallery. The Patiala State Monorail is also open for rides on Sundays!

➤Here's the amazing part that this museum also organizes school visits and summer camps, exhibitions and panel discussions for people of all ages. Here Museum Day and Children’s Day are celebrated every year at the museum with much enthusiasm, competitions, special activities.

➤And obviously, for foodies, they gotta special arrangement of fancy a royal meal restaurant, Inspired by the model train of the Maharaja of Gwalior’s banquet table, this restaurant has an interesting serving train, which chugs around the restaurant serving food.
