The Surajkund International craft fest is unique which showcases the colorful variety of the handicrafts, and artistic material of India, and it is the biggest crafts fest in the world. During this period of time, Surajkund is full of enjoyment and arts around, music and dance.
This fare place more than a million visitors crowd the Mela during the fortnight from all over the world, nationwide and international both.
The fest is presented by the Haryana Tourism Department in Surajkund. The motive behind this cultural fest is to promote handicrafts, handlooms with the support of craftsmen invited from all over the country.
A huge amount of famous international and national folk artistes and cultural collections are present here, and performances of the artistes and the open-air theatres at Mela.
Each state represents a part of their culture at the Mela. Basically, this handicraft festival is a platform for artists across the globe to showcase their culture and talent at the festival. Handmade materials soaked in ethnic colors make an eye catching presentation for the visitors.
 This festival takes place for around 15 days where arts, music, dance, colorful environment and foodies also got so many interesting options here, therefore food stalls are available. The multi-cuisine Food Court offers traditional cuisines from all over the world, which are massively popular with visitors.
The uniqueness of the Mela is that one of the Indian states gets the honour to occupy the position of the Theme State each year. 
This Mela turns its spotlight on one Indian state every year.
The Theme State was broadly conceptualised with a view to encourage and attention on art, craft and cuisine of each state. Are you looking for a rustic experience? Which celebrates talent and the culture of locals, then this Surajkund Mela should be in your bucket list.
This year it's 34th Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2020 and Himachal Pradesh have been chosen to be the Theme State this time. Before it was Maharashtra In the year 2019. It started on 2 Feb and will end on 16 Feb this year.

The opening time of the fest for visitors are from 10.30 a.m to 8.30 p.m every day till 16 Feb 2020.

The ticket price of this cultural fest has been fixed at Rs 60 for students with Student's ID card and for senior citizens with id proof. And for general tickets, it's 120 per person. However, tickets price differ for weekends it is about Rs 160.Also, tickets are online on BookMyShow official website, so that you can avoid being a part of cue for tickets.
