As I visited here and can tell you my experience about the journey that its an outstanding piece of Art as you might know and Love and a great instance of Islamic architecture. And The highest number of tourists visited here was 7 million in the year of 2018. Because of the remarkable white marble beauty of Taj. This mausoleum is the most exquisite testimony of undying love in the world.
It is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. The proofs discovered by the researchers and archaeologists of today and the panoramic mixture of the reasons behind its making are drawn with every step you would walkthrough. As it's huge marble surfaces tumble into shadow or reflect the sun, its color changes, from soft grey and yellow to pearly cream and dazzling white; it's well worth going to see at different times.
Timing, which suits your photography-
The color of marble changes color during the day. The Taj Mahal shows its different moods through its mixed shades. Moods vary from dawn to dusk. It has various shades as at all kind of beauty can ever have! The taj mahal or the crown of palaces looks milky white in the soft light which is the pinkish color in the early morning, whereas milky white at midday and a sparkly golden at sunset, virtually looking like a jewel against cloudy blue of the skyline. Taj breaking into the night sky, grand and simply stunning in a sense that cannot be put into words. It is the time when it shines like a pearl. and the intermediary variations during different hours of the day and during the different seasons in the year. The Taj is most attractive in the early morning, covered in mists and covered with a soft red glow. The central dome of Taj reaches a height of 240 feet which is 73 meters and is further surrounded by four smaller domes.
The rest of the complex comprises the main gateway of red sandstone and a square garden cut up into quarters by long ponds of water, as well as a red sandstone mosque.
Easy Entrance of Taj-
At Taj there are three entrances gate to the Complex, I would suggest the eastern entrance since it comprises a walk through the great gate. This great gate is also called as Darwaza-I-Rauza and offers the first glimpse of the Taj. This is a path lined
up by shops that will direct you to the eastern entrance gate, also the
security checkpoint.
The Taj Mahal for which even the course of the river Yamuna is said to been diverted. And here the tombs are enclosed in an octagonal chamber ornamented with marble lattice screen.

Some history of Taj-
This complex was assembled using different pieces of stuff picked from around all over India and Asia. Mahal
was constructed in 1648 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his
wife ‘Mumtaz Mahal’. On June 17, 1631, he lost his wife and was inconsolable and
predict a memorial that would benefit his love.
The face side of the Taj is decorated with a floral pattern and the architecture is merged of Islamic, Indian, Persian, ottoman, and Turkish art elements. This Taj was constructed by more than 20000 people and more than 1,000 elephants were used to carry the building material. So as you can easily understand how grand it is. Surely no doubt it is one of the seven wonders of the world.
